Whilst Torch has a unique ministry in the UK, we recognise that we are part of several much larger communities.
Sight Loss Agencies
Sight Loss Agencies — UK
The UK is blessed with an incredible array of charities which work with blind and partially sighted people. Torch has always been keen to play its part in this sector, supporting other organisations where we can and being a referral point for those individuals who would benefit from connecting with us.
If you represent a Sight Loss Agency please contact us if you think we can help you or you want to refer someone to us.
Christian Organisations
Christian Organisations & Denominations
Torch sees itself as a small part of the diverse Body of Christ within the UK and internationally. We recognise and celebrate the interconnectedness and common calling to Christian ministry and mission shared by the many wonderfully diverse organisations which exist. We are keen to connect and work in partnership with others who feel that together we can enhance our mutual calling.
If you represent a Christian organisation or denomination please contact us if you think there may be ways we can work together.
International
International
Right from the days of the Torch magazine before the organisation was formed in 1959, Torch has had an international focus. The ways in which this has been expressed have changed over the years, but we continue to seek to be a constructive part of a growing body of international Christian sight loss organisations.
If you represent a Christian sight loss organisation outside of the UK please contact us or complete a if you think there may be ways we can work together.
Churches
Support Torch at Church
Torch believes that Christianity is for everyone and that being part of a local fellowship of believers is a vital part of the Christian life. A central element of our mission is to support churches to be fully inclusive of the gifts and needs of people with sight loss. Our Sight Loss Friendly Church initiative is geared up to do just that.
