At Torch we have seen time and time again how God has guided and provided for the ministry of Torch. As a team, prayer is part of our daily routine and we invite you to partner with us in prayer.

Why Pray?
Throughout his earthly ministry Jesus made time in his busy life to pray and connect with his heavenly father. He encourages us to do likewise by seeking God and bringing our requests to him.
“My father will give whatever you ask in my name”
John 16:23
We know that God listens to our prayers and we have seen him making connections and paving the way for Torch by providing us with volunteers, staff, partner agencies, venues for events and so on. We also know that he sustains us and inspires us as we serve him day by day. It is a great comfort to our team to know that whatever challenges we are facing we are upheld in prayer by supporters of Torch.
“So often I am amazed that the God of the universe is paying attention to the details of my life. Even in the last week I have seen God answer our prayers by helping us to find new volunteers to help with one of our Torch Fellowship groups. There are times I sit down at my desk not knowing what to write or what I’m going to say to someone. I quiet my mind and ask God to lead me to give me the words and he is so faithful. It means so much to us as a team to know that there are people praying each day for the work we do here.”
