        Prayer Phone Transcript

        Thank you for your prayers for Torch. This is your prayer phone update for the week beginning the 10th November.


        Thank God for the Torch Groups catch-up, which took place on the 30th October. Thank God for those who were able to attend and share how their group is doing, and please pray for those who weren’t able to attend, that their Groups continue to go strong. Pray for any Group with a change in leadership, or who are struggling for members and volunteers; pray for more people to join those Groups and to offer to drive people or help out in some other way.


        Please pray for the team attending Sight Village London on the 18th and 19th November. Pray for their safe arrival and for the practicalities of setting up and packing down. Pray for good conversations with those who are attending the exhibition, that they want to find out more and sign up as clients. Pray for the Sight Loss Agencies who are attending, pray for them to be interested in what we do and for them to refer their clients to us when appropriate.


        Pray for the Torch House Coffee Morning on the 20th November. Pray for those who help facilitate it, whether by baking, playing an instrument or speaking. Give thanks for all the work they do to make it a welcoming place and pray that those who attend feel welcome and included.


        Thank God for all the Chaplaincy volunteers. Pray for their team meeting on the 25th November, that it is a good time to discuss the Chaplaincy Service and that all the volunteers feel well supported and equipped to take calls with clients. Pray for more people to reach out to become a volunteer and for more clients to ask to receive support via the programme.
