        Torch’s ministry to people with sight loss has been going for well over 60 years, fuelled by the prayers, commitment of time and financial gifts of an army of wonderful supporters. We receive no government funding so everything Torch does is dependent on the generosity of people like you.

        At Torch we passionately believe in the power of prayer. We would love you to join us praying for Torch as we seek God’s guidance and wisdom in all we do. We also seek God’s protection for our staff and volunteers, his provision for the work and most importantly transformation in the lives of those we are here to serve.

        Supporting Torch through giving

        At Torch we are truly humbled by the many gifts we receive from our supporters. Torch receives no government funding and only a very small percentage of our income comes through sales of our accessible Christian literature. Throughout its history Torch has seen God provide through the support of individuals and churches. Please consider whether you are able to support Torch financially, whether you are able to make a one off gift, a regular monthly donation or to remember Torch in your will by setting up a legacy. Your gift will help us to continue the ministry of Torch by offering life changing services to those who need them.

        Support Torch at Church

        Torch believes that Christianity is for everyone and that being part of a local fellowship of believers is a vital part of the Christian life. A central element of our mission is to support churches to be fully inclusive of the gifts and needs of people with sight loss. Our Sight Loss Friendly Church initiative is geared up to do just that.
