        Prayer Phone Transcript

        Thank you for praying for the ministry of Torch Trust. This is your prayer phone update for the week beginning the 20th January.


        Give thanks for the new members of staff here at Torch. Give thanks for Janette, who is our new Resources Curator, and for Vicki, who is our new Church Partnerships Coordinator. Thank God that they have joined our team and for what they’ll bring to the team. Pray they both feel welcomed as they settle into their new roles and the Torch family.

        Please pray for the Finance Committee Meeting, taking place on the 23rd January. Pray for wisdom in decisions taking place.

        Please pray that the Braille Bible in Lusoga language, which Compass Braille sent to Uganda before Christmas, would arrive soon. It is needed for its launch event planned for the end of January. Please pray for a safe and worthwhile trip for Jake as he travels out there for this event and to meet representatives from several African Bible Societies.
